Moving through the collective Ground Hog day as we face the shadow in return of Light to break out of the illusion of maya

I have been with the Himalayan Yogis for a while. During this time there was a strong nudge to watch the film Groundhog Day.
Back in the day we used to go to blockbusters and spend an hour or more choosing a film, often the world cinema or comedy sections, and have the night around this ritual which included food before or during, smoke breaks and so on and even the process of the return of the film a few days later. Afterwards I would reflect on the film all week. The imagery also having submerged into the subconscious in some way, so it took time to process.
These days kids flicker between several films they have seen already millions of time on their phones whilst doing some other activity.
That says so much, so much, from the scope for subconscious programming, to the shift in approaches to living, and perhaps offers insight into why most of the crystal generation of sensitives are having break downs of one sort or another.
I have not watched a film for many years now. I don't listen to pop music either. I do not want the programming. However I kept getting a nudge to watch groundhog day again and I have been going deep recently through another gate, guided by the Yogis in spirit.
This is a movie about passing through the initiation gates and transcending illusion, but in disguise as a hollywood comedy
Although Groundhog day itself is about the time of year of Imbolc, it is really about the emergence from the shadow into the light generally and as a collective this is where we are right now - will the world stay in the winter or shadow for another "6 weeks", or will the light now come?
Can we move through the shadow like the film's protagonist by facing our shadow, inspired by the divine feminine light within us to become deeper people (regardless of gender) or will we stay caught in the loop of the 8?
And is this not where we all are right now as a collective?
All over the world Imbolc is an important celebration of coming out of the dark shadowy underworld and back into the light. In Punxsutawney USA it is celebrated as Groundhog day with the groundhog used as an oracle for weather prediction - when the groundhog emerges from its barrow it can predict if winter will stay or go depending on whether it sees its shadow.
This is the topic of the film Groundhog day, filled with esoteric references disguised in superficial entertainment which is all about breaking out of the illusion of Maya.
It is a film about a cyclical selfish men fed up with life and doing things for self gain, living trapped in the same illusion. It is okay to ‘not be okay’ like this protagonist at the beginning, and find everything and everyone ridiculous - even though he is selfish, the film plays on that part of all humans who can all relate to that cynicism and dissatisfaction with mere daily existence. He finds his way out of the time loop and the 8 through the divine (kind compassionate) feminine who inspires him to have an epiphany and become a deeper person.
Half way through the film whilst he is undergoing change and having realisations, a van drives past and the logo of the company on it is ‘keystone’, this is a masonic symbol that signifies the central stone between the pillars on the arch, that unites the dual forces. The masons have the compass and the square symbol (compass or circle and square = spirit and matter) or the chess board, to signify the same entrapment of duality by those locked into the square, that is the central theme of this film. When we access the realms of the circle and then bring the spirit into matter within we can transform (alchemy).
.
At the end of the film there is rather an annoying scene at end that presents the message that one must be accomplished to be a good person but the point it is trying to get across is depth of personality.
Like the groundhog, will the protagonist see his shadow or will he go into the light? At imbolc you come out of shadow into light, and this also symbolises wider opportunity to come out of living life in the illusory matrix and traverse through the mirror or out of the matrix (illusion) and be born anew.
Just like the film groundhog day, we have all felt delusional with every day life becoming a never ending cycle, is there more to existence than this?
This then opens the doors to traverse the shadow and break the illusions of monotony into divine grace.
Before enlightenment, chop wood fetch water. After enlightenment, chop wood, fetch water.
Can humanity, can the collective. break through??
Can we do it?
The groundhog traditions draws parallels to a German tradition with badgers to predict winter’s duration based on light and shadow. However despite perhaps influence of Germanic settlers, the location Punxsutawney was first settled by the Delaware Indians who had their already well established relationship with their lands and animal spirit. Spirit medicine of the groundhog is of course timekeeping, cycles and transformation.
There is a well known Cherokee story of a groundhog tricking 7 wolves by dancing in front of 7 trees which of course signifies the dance of the 7 sisters and we once again see reference to those 7 initiatory gates ....

IMAGE - The signs are all around us. In this ancient 'Templar' symbol hanging in a prominent position in the centre square of an old town in Britain, you can notice it makes the letter H which is the 8th letter of the alphabet, the traditional symbol of infinity and the wheel of maya. Next to the master Twin Towers / pillars either side are two keys, these double keys (aka cross keys) opened the door. In the centre of the image is the dual cross signifying the compass directions of the eight wheel. Above the door and keystone at the top middle there is a tower that looks like a chalice, where as below the door is water (above = below). To pass through the reflections of the illusion we follow the inner mysteries to open the twin where duality becomes unity, and thus reach the chalice.
Will you make it through?
Will we make it through?
And how?
Looks like this templar sign is displaying their knowledge of the keys (but they did not quite get hold of the chalice that the Cathar kept from them).
The Himalayan Yogis are amongst many with the key for the door to the chalice.
Mary Magdalene, mistress of the waters is a holder of the chalice.
The chalice is the light of the Goddess and opens the door to Divine Grace.
